Our Founder
Ladies Ride was founded by Christy Onyekaba, a lawyer turned entrepreneur with a passion for empowering women and breaking barriers in male-dominated industries. After completing law school, Christy ventured into the food industry, honing her entrepreneurial spirit.
Her journey began with her father sending his personal car from Abuja to Lagos to help transport meals from Surulere, Ijesha to Awolowo Road, Ikoyi. Later, she made the bold decision to sell that car to fund her new cloud kitchen. Through these experiences, she observed challenges women face in various industries and felt inspired to create a platform promoting gender equality, inclusivity, and safety for women drivers.
